Spaceship Parking & Beyond, Sunday Afternoon
Liam had made plans with Kaidan and Verity to go on something of a joyride today, so he'd shown up at the junkyard early to give himself time to do an extra-thorough pre-flight check.
The virtual glass shimmered and became permeable as the shuttle recognized his biometrics, and he sat down in the pilot's seat and brought up the HUD.
ID core, optimal; conventional drive, optimal; weapons, optimal; communications, online; backup controls, online... everything seemed to be in working order. Now he just needed his passengers.
[ooc: for them what's mentioned!]

"Hello to you both," he greeted them. Then he discreetly kicked the back of Liam's heel for an introduction.

The words caught up with him and he absolutely just smirked at Liam. "The God of Distant Stars? Buddy, so humble. You should've said, Your Divinityship."
No, Liam, you're not living that down anytime soon.

"HAIL!"
"Abrazo is--Abrazo, how would you describe your position?"
"Well, Priestess," the mouse said, blinking up at Verity with earnest, inkdrop eyes. "I am Of The Faithful, but I am but a Layperson In Your Service." The capital letters were audible. No one had any idea of the Aeslin did it. "Though, I have been Granted the Privilege of carrying the stories of your Adventures Into The Stars this day."
Re: Before Takeoff!
"I've never met an Aeslin mouse before. If we have them where I'm from, they've never been mentioned," he offered, "Nice to meet you, Abrazo."
Re: Before Takeoff!
And then Abrazo ran up and hid in Verity's hair.
"He's a little overwhelmed," she explained, with a fond smile. "This is the first time in a generation that we've seen the elevation of someone to godhood and it's all a little much for some of the younger mice." She reached up to pet Abrazo with one soft finger. "Aeslin are almost extinct," she added. "The colony that live with us may be the last of their species in the world. So unless you're very well-tied into the cryptid population of your world, I wouldn't be surprised that you hadn't heard of them."

"Pre-flight's done," he informed them. "Let's get the hell outta here."

Because he was trying to be subtle, you see.
Re: Before Takeoff!
"ALL HAIL THE CHEESE AND CAKE!"
Ugh. Verity was just going to bury her face in her hands for forever now. Nice amateur move, Price.
Re: Before Takeoff!
Honestly, it wouldn't have surprised him. Random shawarama may appear, indeed.
Re: Before Takeoff!
handwavilyhead somewhere after, but right now?" A wave of his hand replaced the diagnostic with the navigational array. "Space awaits."Re: Before Takeoff!
Sometimes you have to be firm with Aeslin. Especially when it came to snacks.
